Echosmith’s Drummer under attack after DMs sent to Blink 182’s Travis Barker’s 13 year old daughter surface publicly

Yeah, that title was a bit of a mouthful, but this is an interesting story that has very recently surfaced.

Alabama Barker, daughter of Blink 182’s drummer Travis Barker, recently revealed that she has been receiving Instagram DMs from Eachosmith’s drummer Graham Sierota, which started when she was only TEN years old. So, this has been a three year stint of constant messages, house party invites, and unwanted compliments for the child star, and the screen shots were shared on Instagram for everyone to see.

It started off as simple ‘Hi’ multiple times, and the messages were left ignored, understandably. The next message to come along was “by the way I’m Graham from echosmith and I think ur beautiful” which like the countless previous messages, was left without a response. Just a bit of a side note, we see that the ES drummer was somehow trying to big himself up to Alabama by somewhat exploiting his fame in order to try fetch a response, and this isn’t cool.

Back to the messages, the drummer THEN clearly couldn’t take the hint, and decided to crank it up again by inviting the CHILD to a house party. This was the move that warranted a response, and in true Barker fashion, the response was straight to the point, and in our eyes; very effective.

She messaged back saying “ur like 40” and his response was “I just wanted to say I really like ur music and sorry for messaging I’m 20,” and she responded “Ok but u understand I’m a child?

Rightly so, Travis has publicly responded to the situation with the following statement:

“When I found a 20 year old man was trying to get in touch with my 13 year old daughter by filling her Instagram messages with party invites and compliments I was disgusted. That’s predatory behavior and there is nothing cool, normal, or OK about it at all.”

This whole situation is unfortunately becoming more and more common, and we need to ensure that this kind of behaviour and conduct is not tolerated, and people who do bahave in this way SHOULD be made an example of.
