Highlights from this week!

In terms of cool announcements surfacing, this week has been pretty spot on. We have created a run down for you guys, just in case you missed out on some of the epic news that has came about this week.

Starting off (in no particular order), Peter Hook and the Light announced that they are going to be playing two very special UK shows that will act as warm ups to their extensive South American tour. The two shows in question are taking place towards the end of April, and the first one will be on at The Old Fire Station in Carlisle, and the second at Hebden Bridge Trades Club.

Next up, Mallory Knox announced that they are also going to be out on tour during the back end of April! They are playing eight shows across the UK, and if you’re a fan who wants to see them play smaller venues, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Slightly different from the rest, but none the less, still pretty cool. American Hardcore band Turnstile have a new song surfacing TONIGHT after 7PM on the Radio One Rock Show. It was announced a couple days ago through the band’s Instagram @turnstiletribe, and we know that the name of said track is ‘Can’t Get Away’, and it will be featured on the soon to be released new full length ‘Time and Space’.

A double whammy with this one. Even though four bands were only announced, it was also made clear that the iconic band The Audition will be reforming just in time for a slot at the mighty Slamdunk Festival this May. Alongside this announcement, Goldfinger, Reel Big Fish and ROAM were added to the line up.

And bringing this epic list to an end, the first lot of acts were announced for Reading and Leeds Festival 2018. We can admit it, the line up is VERY mixed this year, but we are still excited to see what the future line ups bring to the table. So far, the established headliners are Fall Out Boy, Kings of Leon, and Kendrick Lamar, and playing alongside are killer acts like Panic at the Disco, Sum 41, Creeper, and Beartooth.

There have been several other announcements, however we feel like these ones are some of the best!
